Denise Herman is proud to call Alamance Community School her home! She has a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and has been teaching for 11 years. Each year she feels more grateful than the last to hold this irreplaceable role in our community.

Denise is the mother of two incredible daughters. They live in Mebane, N.C. and absolutely love this town! When she is not teaching; Denise loves to run with her dogs Luke and Lady, play outside with her girls, read, and listen to music.

Sixth Grade is a year filled with unique adventures of adolescence and she is very humbled to guide her students through this precious journey. Denise's passion is to be the safe and positive mentor that her students need while navigating this journey.
