J. Marquice Miller
Principal
Mr. J. Marquice Miller was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. He
has a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of North
Carolina at Greensboro and a master's degree in educational
leadership from Gardner-Webb University. He is currently pursuing a
Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at Carolina University.
After briefly leading and teaching first-graders, Mr. Miller discovered
his calling in middle school, where he spent most of his teaching
career in eighth-grade math and science. Mr. Miller was a teacher
leader outside the classroom, providing professional development at the school and district levels. These experiences led him to administration, where he has worked as an assistant principal at the middle and high school levels in Guilford County and Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.
Mr. Miller, his wife, and their three sons live in High Point, North Carolina. He enjoys performing music, singing with his family, gardening, yard work, and kickboxing!
