Jennifer Gunter

7th Grade

Jennifer Gunter is an amazing teacher who enjoys getting to know students as individuals and tailoring lessons to meet their unique needs as individuals. Jennifer began teaching in 2002 after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She began her teaching career in the elementary grades, but has fallen in love with teaching middle schoolers and has been teaching middle school science and math for the past 7 years!

She lives in Burlington, NC with her 17 year old daughter, her dog Link, two tortoises and an assortment of cats and foster cats. Ms. Gunter also has a 20 year old son! She is a volunteer with Sparkle Cat Rescue and often fosters or works with cats and kittens that have been abandoned. She also occasionally volunteers with or fosters for the Burlington Animal Shelter. She is a recreational runner and enjoys a good race with friends. Ms. Gunter loves to be active in the community and can't wait to be a part of this amazing school!
