Kaitlyn Cecil graduated from Appalachian State University in May of 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a concentration in Social Studies. She grew up in Alamance County, specifically Haw River, and is very thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to the community that raised her! She has taught kindergarten at a public elementary school in Savannah, Georgia for the 2019-2020 school year, and has served at Alamance Community School ever since its conception.

She enjoys teaching, cooking, and spending time with her family. She cannot wait to get this school year started!
