Stephanie Harrison was born and raised in Alamance County. She holds an Elementary Education degree from UNCG and has been an educator since 1997. Her journey began at South Mebane Elementary School where she taught first and second grade. For the past 20 years, she has enjoyed being a homeschool mom and teaching in the community and church. She has taught preschool, online high school English, and numerous homeschool enrichment classes. For the past two years, she loved volunteering in the Good News Afterschool Club here at ACS.

Mrs. Harrison lives in Burlington with her husband and three of her four sons. She is excited to join Alamance Community School this year along with her youngest son in 5th grade. She enjoys reading, traveling, watching movies, and playing the piano.
