OCTOBER is FULL! Breast Cancer Awareness National Principal’s Month Bully Prevention Month Project Celebrations BOOSTERTHON
Greetings, Coyote Families! We have one more week before we all get a well-deserved break!
We will hit the ground running with Learning, testing, sports, and... BOOSTERTHON! We ended before break with a lot of fun things happening. Some of those things are included in this issue. We are grateful to our staff for a strong start to the year, and you should be extra proud of your scholars for the work they’ve put in to learn so much this year already!

New Carline App:
We will be launching a new carline app soon to streamline our drop-off and pick-up processes. Staff will be trained this week to ensure a smooth transition. Thank you for your patience as we make these improvements. We appreciate your attention to these details and your continued support in making our school environment safe and efficient. ACS Clothing Pantry
We need some more clothing for our emergency clothing pantry. If you can provide packages of new girls and boys underwear (sizes 5-10) and gently used pants and shirts (sizes 5-10), it would be greatly appreciated. There is a basket in the front office for collection. Thank you for your generosity.

GENESIS BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL UPDATES
Late Pick Up from School
For students not picked up in the afternoon carline by 1:45 on Wednesdays and 3:45 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, will be taken to the ACS/Genesis Athletics after care program. For the first late pick up, there will be no charge. For the second late pick up, there will be a $5.00 charge. For the third late pick up there will be a $10.00 fee. Subsequent late pickups, parents/guardians will be charged an after care fee to be determined by how often this occurs and how late the student is picked up.

ACS SPORTS
ACS Fall Sports Wrap-Up:
We will conclude our Fall Sports the week of October 14-18! Our Fall Sports team competed at a high level and showed the strength of our Pack! The weather sometimes created cancellations and postponements but never stopped our coyotes' will to improve their craft. Our fall sports coaches have seen great improvement in our student athletes since we began in August!

ACS Winter Sports:
We are excited to kick off our Winter Sports Season over the next few weeks. Our winter sports teams will feature Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball and Cheerleading. If you have a 6th or 7th grade student that is interested in trying out for a winter sports team they must have an active physical/concussion form on file with the Athletic Department.
More information about girls and boys basketball tryouts dates and interest meetings will be communicated this month. Cheerleading will hold an interest meeting on October 15, 2024 7:00 pm-7:30 pm, fill out google form to receive email from cheer coaches.
